Hello I am CEO and Director of multi award winning software development house ThoughtWare. We build, market, and support Governance, Risk Management and Compliance software that’s called i.on my.

Why i.on my – well ions are building blocks of life right? and we see our solution as a building block to assist firms, PLUS its a double play on keeping an eye on.

From our start with 2 part time resources i.on my software has experienced sustainable growth and now we engage 20 resources (mostly technical), plus have an extended reach for further ad hoc resource requirements. I’m proud to say that my client base is across all Australian states and Territories and into NZ, plus we have Singapore in our sights. Growth was slow at first but is looking promising from 2013 to 2014 our client numbers doubled and net profit grew by 60%.

Where did I work before ThoughtWare – immediately prior I was at Mincom (now Ventrix). When I locate more time I’ll populate this with ‘career’ history” details. Mostly it was about HR systems, Projects (I LOVE projects and project management), professional services and consulting, working with corporates and governments. A highlight when at Mincom was I turned around a business unit from $500,000 revenue to $8million within a 12 month period. Amazing what you can do when you start with $ and resources versus start ups on shoestrings. I also met a group of fabulous people when at Mincom, a number of whom I remain in touch with today. Plus over time I have engaged a handful of them in my own company when they have been between other contracts or in a period of change.

OK YES I also met some fabulous people when I was consulting at CITEC and Brisbane City Council:-) didn’t I Damian, Malcolm, Peter and Kim!
