Generally I am not a fan of George Clooney movie choices. The loveable rogue wears thin on me. However I did enjoy this movie – where he played not only lead role but many behind the scenes roles, director, producer etc.
I note the reviews are split 50/ 50. What I liked was the seamless advanced technology that was just there. No fuss was made it was just part of what it was. And the twists at the end. (in truth I also liked working out where some shots were filmed as some I recognised).
Yes Clooney got in at least one of his philosophical statements “we didn’t look after Earth well while you were gone”. BUT overall I found this movie interesting – all be it a lot of depressive stuff.
